Life is like a Football Game

We all know people who go to work everyday and slowly make small gains toward their goals. They are like the teams that gain four yards every play, make first downs, and eventually score a touchdown.

Others go to work everyday and get tackled for a loss, and have to punt the ball. These people are the ones who suffer health, financial, or relationship setbacks regularly.

And still others live by the big play. They pass the ball for huge gains and multiple touchdowns. They are the ones who get the big promotions, buy the big house, and take the grand vacations.

Most of us go through all three situations. We work hard to get ahead. Then we have a setback, get desperate and go for the big play.

No matter the situation we are in, it's important to never give up. To get back on the field any continue striving for our goals, one play, one game, one season at a time. Never give up.
