Live a Little

There's another world out there waiting for us, and there are two ways to find it. We can get off our couch, leave the house and TV behind, and go experience it. Those experiences may range from the beauty of watching a sunset on the beach, to the harsh reality of helping the homeless on a city street.

Or you can open a book and experience the real and imaginary worlds that authors built in their books. You can travel to Mars on a space ship, ride a dragon, or fight Orcs in Middle earth. You can romance the love of your life, or smell and hear the sounds of a civil war battle.

But the best way, in my humble opinion, is to pack a book, and climb a mountain or go to the beach and read a few lines out loud while experiencing two worlds simultaneously.

Get out there and live a little. Or better yet, live a lot. The choice is yours.
