Mushroom Magic
The secret to productivity

Mushrooms are high in protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants; all of which can have health benefits. But they grow wild in areas that have lots of decaying matter, like fallen leaves, limbs, and rotting timber, or what we humans call waste.

They grow rich and nutritious from the waste of other plants and animals, making it a magical food. It's productive in an environment of useless and decaying matter. But, it's not waste to them. They not only survive, they thrive in this environment.

The secret to productivity.

For humans to be productive, we must learn from our mistakes. Mistakes which seem like wasted time or effort are not wasted if we learn from it. They become lessons, which develop into experience. And experience helps us make better decisions and become more productive in the future.

Thomas Edison is often quoted on his invention of the lightbulb as saying, "I didn't fail 10,000 times, I just found 10,000 ways that didn't work." Lessons. Experience. Increased productivity.

So remember the mushroom magic. Grow from your mistakes, because mistakes become experience. Experience will add to your intelligence and enthusiasm. There is no wasted time or effort, only lessons learned. Be a magic mushroom and thrive from those lessons. It is by doing and learning that we become better.

Have a great week,
Tony
