I once read a story about President John F. Kennedy asking Werner Von Braun, known as the father of modern rocketry, "What would it take to put a man on the moon?" Von Braun's response was, "The will to do it."

Resolve, willpower, and desire are similar words, meaning the same thing. The funny thing about the story between Kennedy and Von Braun is that it took place in the 1950s. At that time, Von Braun was writing technical articles and books describing space travel to the moon and Mars and establishing colonies.

Seventy years later, we still haven't accomplished Von Braun's vision. It will probably take close to one hundred years or more to accomplish that feat. If anyone has the resolve to do it.

A few years ago, I decided I would write a novel. Four years later, I accomplished the task, and with the help of Amazon, I published it. Time is not the issue for most plans. It is resolve, desire, or the will to do it. Whatever it is you want, don't give up.
