"Trust the Process"
A carpenter will begin constructing a house by building a solid foundation. Then he will build the walls, and add the roof. Finally, he will finish the outside before moving to the inside. There is a proven process he follows to get it 'in the dry.' Meaning it's not in danger of being ruined by rain. Once the shell is complete, the process will move at a slower pace until it is perfected. Each new house becomes better as he learns from the last one.
Plan your work, and work your plan.
"Your time is coming."
In writers parlance, that means 'Plot your story and write your plot. Finish the story. Get it 'in the dry.' Finish the first draft. Then you can edit and rewrite, making improvements along the way until the work is almost perfect.
"Just do your work, and the results will handle themselves."
